I tried to cover a broad range of folk with this from "Folkier" bands like Simon and Garfunkel and Cat Stevens to more exotic artists like Animal Collective.

Highlights:

4. No, Nirvana is not a folk band, but Where Did You Sleep Last night is a traditional folk/blues song by Leadbelly, either version is great, i like Nirvana's.

6. If you can find a video of Richie Havens at Woodstock it's incredible. Best rhythm guitar player i've ever seen.

8. Bright Eyes has been kind of disappointing, but this album was great, mixing folk and country.


Other than those i stand by everything here. It's all good.
